Staff Reporter The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) confiscated 800 kilograms of drugs worth millions of rupees in Pasni hills on Monday. The coast guards spokesman told media that the drugs were accumulated at the site in order to smuggle abroad. Moreover, investigation into the matter has been launched. In December last year, PCG seized fine quality of 3,250 kilograms of hashish in the Shadi Kaur area also near Pasni. Acting on information from intelligence sources about the smuggling of narcotics in Shadi Kaur, a raid was carried out by a special mobile patrol and 3,250 kilograms of hashish dumped in the desolate mountains was seized. According to a PCG spokesperson, on the instructions of the director general of the PCG about a zero-tolerance policy on the smuggling of narcotics, the PCG had intensified its efforts to curb the menace of drug trafficking.
