Commissioner Muhammad Salim Rajput on Tuesday said coordinated efforts were needed to improve the law and order situation and other issues of the people of mega city and the establishment of coordination committees at divisional, district and sub-division levels will help in this regard.
He said this while presiding over the first meeting of the CPLC Coordination Committee at his office. He said that the Saylani Welfare Trust has also decided to cooperate in the efforts for the city’s improvement and the services being provided to the citizens.
The CPLC and Saylani Trust are doing a good job for the betterment of the city and the welfare of humanity, the Commissioner said and added that public facilities could be further improved by collective efforts.
Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) chief ZubairHabib termed the establishment of coordination committees at different levels, a good initiative and said working together with the administration will bring improvement.
Adviser Saylani Welfare Trust AfzalChamdia briefed the meeting about the details of the services provided by the Trust. All Deputy Commissioners, representatives of CPLC and Saylani Trust also attended the meeting.
