Pakistan Kabaddi team will start their journey against the defending champion Iran on today Monday in the first match of the ongoing 19th Asian Games Kabaddievent at Hangzhou, China.
The Pakistan Kabaddi team, who won the bronze medal in the last edition of Asian games, already reached Hangzhou to participate in the mega event.
Pakistan Kabaddi team includes Muhammad Imran (Captain), Waqar Ali, Akhlaq Ahmed, SajjadShaukat, AdilHussain, MuzammilZafar, Mudassar Ali, TahseenUllah, Muhammad Sufian, Usman Ahmad, Umair Khan and Afaq Khan while Nabeel Ahmed Rana, BadshahGul, Muhammad Kamran will be act as coach and manager with team.
The Asian Games Kabaddi competitions will start on October 2 and will run till October 7 at the XiaoshanGuali Sports Centre in Hangzhou. The Pakistan team staged in Group B of their respective event along with defending champion Iran, Korea and Malaysia while India, Japan, Bangladesh, Thailand and Chinese Taipei placed in Group -A in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals to be held on October 6 and final will be played on October 7.
