KHALISTAN’S leader Hermindar Singh Nijjar, a Canadian citizen, has been killed in Canada outside a Gurdwara. The Canadian Government has, after their preliminary investigations, blamed the complicity of the Indian Government, RAW in the murder. A follow up, another Sikh, also Canadian, has been killed the other day. Two murders of Canadians on Canadian soil are unprecedented. It has not been taken lightly by the Government of Canada as well as the civilized world.
It has created a heated row in both the countries, resulting in the expulsion of diplomats from each country. Canada has reacted very sharply on this blatant interference in its sovereignty. When the Prime Minister of Canada blames the government of India and its complexity in the crime, on the floor of Parliament , he has credible evidence to support his claim. Now it has come out in the press that an organization Five Eyes has been able to record the evidence between the perpetuators of the crime. Canada believes in the rule of law. He assured Canada will proceed according to the international practice is going to launch investigations to trace the culprits. The government of India’s reaction has been very violent and aggressive. The media in India is in full blast against the person of the prime minister of Canada as well as the Canadian government.
Immaturity of the highest level, a member of the RSS on Indian television has threatened the Government of Canada use of nuclear weapons against Canada. Extremely highly irresponsible statement, and reflect the failure of the government of India to contradict it and detach from it. The US and other powers have supported the stance of the Canadian Government. It is first time India is facing the combined opposition against State terrorism they have been perpetuating in Kashmir, in Pakistan, in other neighbouring countries without any condemnation from the West. This is the first time when the West is hit in its heart and the pain is understandable. As it is said every negative action sometime also creates positive results. It is hoped that the United States and West will reign in the Indian RSS-led government in their pursuit to perpetuate State terrorism in other countries
India and Canada both are in Commonwealth as well as their strategic partners against China’s containment. But the relationship between the two countries from the last year or two ever since Sikh referendum held in Canada has been going down. From the last two years, the PM Modi a strong headed person, in dealing with the countries, portray India already has become a superpower, which it is not. No doubt, India’s economy has grown fast and as they claim are 5th in the world, yet the fact remains, over 50% of the Indian population is below poverty line. There is a line between the rich and the poor. This attitude has been tolerated by the US and EU for their strategic compulsions, India being their strategic partner and in QUAD as well. There are other bilateral defence and strategic treaties.
There is no doubt that the world has been clamouring, especially Pakistan, a major victim of terrorism, that India has been involved in State terrorism not only against Pakistan openly but also in many other countries like Bangladesh and Nepal. It did not raise any eyebrows in the corridors of western powers for obvious reasons. This has emboldened India. Now it has become global in its endeavours to target Sikh leadership on Canadian soil.
Since the 80s, when the Sikh Movement took off in Punjab, India has been blaming Pakistan for its own woes. Pakistan has strongly denied these allegations. Operation Blue Star was the high point during this movement. In a follow up, thousands of Sikh leaders and the members from the innocent families were killed in India. A community which was fully devoted to India was forced to seek refuge in other countries. This is the time Khalistan Movement emerged. 40 years, the movement is getting stronger day by day, mostly abroad which is a matter of great worry to India. But India still continues to blame Pakistan. In 1993 this was taken up by Pakistan in world forums. Pakistan exposed Indian allegations that Russian made weapons are supplied by Pakistan. Pakistan claimed such weapons are available in the open market in abundance. It is irony that the country which was established by Gandhi in the name of peace has chartered a course right from its inception to take on its neighbours, now it has extended its covert and overt operations globally.
Terrorism has many manifestations and many faces. The use of physical means, attacks on cyber, communication, use of space, creation of financial crisis and subversion are also part of the terrorist activities. India has been indulging in establishing hundreds of fake accounts in Europe and propagating against Pakistan. Now it is being done globally against all those countries that do not follow the Indian line.
India is perpetuating State terrorism not only in Kashmir but against Pakistan from the soil of Afghanistan and Iran. In Kashmir, they have over 900,000 troops deployed against the 8 million Kashmiris. It is all being done in Kashmir in the name of internal security and to protect the sovereignty of India after there vocation of particle 370 and 35 A. Non-Kashmiris are now being settled in Kashmir Valley to change this demography , mostly retired Indian Army soldiers and their families. They are being settled along the line of control for obvious reasons. Gulf countries and international investment is being sought to soften the resistance. Fake encounters are staged as false flag operations followed by massive propaganda. There’s no secret how much the TTP Is being funded and trained in Afghanistan.
There are reports that even their operational plans are being assisted by the Indian RAW agents. The Afghan government which is having a soft corner for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan for the reason they supported them in their struggle against the United States. Afghan Taliban publicly denounce TTP actions but on ground the reality is that the Taliban have a free hand to operate against Pakistan. Indian RAW agents even do not hesitate to cooperate with the ISIS to damage Pakistan.
Recent incidents of terrorism occurred in Pakistan indicate roots going back to the RAW. The world powers specially United States has been closing a blind eye on the Indian perpetuation of State terrorism against Pakistan as well as elsewhere, especially in Sri Lanka, Nepal and even in Bangladesh for their own strategic implications and their alliances with India. It is time the United States should review its policy. The terrorism is now creeping in to Americas. Its time the Pakistan should also raise its concern at the global level in each forum, from the UN Security Council down to every capital of the West and the East.
