Robbers held after encounter

Two bandits were booked for looting money worth Rs. 500,000 in the past, and were arrested in injured condition after an encounter, police said.

As per details, police received a phone call at 2:00 a.m. as four bandits snatched money worth Rs. 25000 with a mobile phone from a passerby before escaping to an unknown location. Upon information, Gulghast police station constituted a team that cordoned off the area and started checking by holding pickets.
When the police stopped a convoy of four motorbikes, one of the riders opened fire.—APP
