Don’t claim 93,000
Certainly, our defenders, not only protected/protecting the borders of our motherland but also stand alongside the nation during every distress. The crises Pakistan is facing presently, our forces are making all out efforts to control them. The establishment of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is also a charisma of Army Chief’s vision – halting the high flight of dollars, restoring the value of rupee and adopting measures to control smuggling of other essential goods de facto.
The history of bravery of Pakistan defence forces was initiated by Capt Sarwar Shaheed (first Nishan-e-Haider) in 1948 and still going-on – except a few bad-names amongst the military-high-command are definitely acceptable. During the 65 War with India, army personnel fixed bombs along with their bodies, laid under enemy tanks and blasted them into air – an historical example never-ever presented before by any army on earth. The gallantry of M M Alam (downer of five aircraft in less than sixty seconds); Rashid Minhas; Aziz Bhatti; M Mahfuz was matchless-love with the motherland. And, followers are following till now – Indian pilot (jackal) was captured by Pakistani air force during Balakot repulse strike.
The army neither prevented the politicians from serving the people nor interfered in the decision-making of the public interest. But when the country is brought to the brink of destruction, how can defence forces remain a silent spectator? So, they were compelled to involve themselves some time as saviours of motherland certainly.
Fall of Dhaka created another Muslim-stat instead of Hindu! Our defence forces “were crying” for fight till last breath yet, not permitted. This incident did not happen due to defeat of the Army, it was due to politicians’ blunders started since independence. The surrender was of (only) 34,000 personnel not 93,000 – Dr Junaid Ahmad, author of book “Creation of Bangladesh: Myths exploded”. So, Indian jackals (must stop) in future spreading false statements of surrender of 93,000 soldiers forces of Pakistan. Instead, wait for: as you sow, so shall reap (In Sha Allah)!

SEPCO operation
It has been more than a week that SEPCO has launched a grand operation against the bogus connections of electricity after SEPCO has been in loss of almost 59 billion. This move is good but it must be carried out against those who paved the way for such illegal acts and showed the public other ways of having bogus connections just for a little amount. People inside SEPCO are the main culprits for the illegal theft of electricity because the public was not aware about the other connections after the installation of cable wires.
It is because of those corrupt meter readers and line men and others of the department who are involved in it. This does not mean that all the employees of SEPCO are corrupt but the majority of them are involved in such heinous acts. This operation would have been encouraged if it had been launched against the corrupt officers of SEPCO as this move has resulted in the loss of many innocent lives of different towns.
Either this operation should be launched against corrupt SEPCO officers from meter readers, line men to the other officials or it should be stopped as soon as possible. SEPCO must eliminate the roots of corruption from the internal actors of the department to stop such bogus connections or else, it is going to have more shocks on the common people.

Issue of inflation
Through an article in your newspaper, I would like to draw attention of the higher authorities towards the issue of inflation. Inflation is a crucial issue that has become a common term in recent times. For anyone who comes from a working class family, inflation has been a harmful thing, both for the moral as well as physical being of the people. The government should realize how these price hikes in daily use items like oil, gas and grains are severely affecting the common masses.
People have been recovering from the pandemic by slowly maintaining their lives, during this time the issue of inflation will only bring any person to a very low position in their life. The government should work on controlling the rate of inflation so it doesn’t have any more harmful effects on people.

Agony in Libya
Libya’s devastated flood – Storm Daniel- has jolted everyone across the globe. Deaths, injuries and missing bodies present a gloomy state of the country. According to United Nations (UN) initial reports, 11,300 people have lost their lives approximately; almost 10,000 inhabitants of the area are still missing while the rest of the people are facing environmental hazards and food insecurity.
Derna, a city of more than one hundred thousand people, has almost lost its existence – buried in mud mercilessly. An estimated figure by the Libyan state media, at least 891 buildings have been destroyed in the city and 20,000 people may have died. As per UNICEF revealed data, nearly 300,000 children have been affected in Libya. Keeping the seriousness of the situation in view, humanitarian organizations have enhanced their humanitarian rescue effort.
However, pain, sorrow and sadness have affected masses of Libya badly. Our sympathies and moral support will always remain with the Libyan brothers and sisters. Let’s pray to the Almighty for consistent patience and speedy rehabilitation of the Libyans grieved and affected families.
