A trailblazer in the world of fashion and women empowerment, Fashion Bee, hosted a guided tour of its industry and launched the Artisan Centre for empowering the skilled artisans and professionals. The event was held at the Centre for Excellence & Advanced Studies (CAS).
Chief Guest on the occasion, wife of the Ambassador of Italy, Mrs. AlbanaPlaneja formally cut the ribbon to inaugurate the centre.
While appreciating the Fashion Bee’s initiative and the joint efforts of the CAS and the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) AlbanaPlaneja hoped the centre would serve to achieve the goal of artisans’ empowerment and open new possibilities for education exchange programmes.
“We are one big family,” she reaffirmed. Let’s utilize the resources available to strengthen ties and promote entrepreneurship, she called upon the audience.
The event was attended by a large number of businesswomen, women entrepreneurs, art and fashion lovers, youths, artisans and the locals.
RizwanaAsif President IWCCI and MrsNaima Ansari, former President IWCCI were the guests of honour on the occasion. The event commenced with a warm welcome note by Chairman of the CAS JunaidElahi who shared how Fashion Bee was seamlessly fusing tradition with innovation, paving the way for international market expansion. The brand’s visionary plans for digitalization and its unwavering commitment to supporting both students and artisans were also highlighted during the event.
Elahi underscored the transformative potential of collaboration and networking in empowering both youth and women, paving the way for a brighter future, particularly in the age of social networking “Networking is key to our success,” the Chairman stated.
