Bid to smuggle 5.448kg liquid Ice to Jeddah foiled

The Airports Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of liquid Ice (methamphetamine) worth millions of rupees in international market at Islamabad Airport on Wednesday.

According to details, the ASF during search of baggage of passenger leaving for Jeddah via Istanbul to perform Umrah found three Ihram towels soaked with 5.448 kg liquid Ice.

The accused identified as Muhammad Imran was taken into custody with recovered drug.
After initial investigation, he was handed over to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) for further legal action.
