The Punjab government is spending more than 38 billions of rupees to completed 45 development projects in the district Hafizabad for providing better communicational, educational, health, education, recreational and municipal facilities to the people.
This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner Umer FarooqWarriach while addressing the meeting of District Development Committee Hafizabad. The pace of work on ongoing development projects was reviewed in the meeting. Deputy Director Development and district heads of different department attended the meeting.
DC directed the officers to ensure timely and according to specification completion of the projects so that people of the areas could get benefits of government expenditure earliest. He said that a state of the art museum with the cost of Rs.55 million was being constructed at Hafizabad to preserve national and local heritage and to provide awareness to new generation about history.
He also said that construction work on Gujranwala to KotSarwar Motorway Interchange via Hafizabad was completed in the great extant and with the completion of this mega project, the better communicational facilities would available to the people of western, central and eastern Punjab.
The Deputy Director Development informed the meeting that construction work on establishment of University of Hafizabad, building of District Headquarter Hospital Hafizabad, Trauma Centre Hafizabad, construction of roads, sewerage, sports, water supply projects are underway while these all ongoing projects would be completed according to specification.
He told that technical team was monitoring on ongoing projects to ensure use of quality material and timely completion of the projects. Meanwhile On the call of All Government Employees Grand Alliance (AGEGA).
