Orphan gets job on Ombudsman’s orders

After the involvement of the Dera Ismail Khan Ombudsman’s office, the son of the deceased employee at the Post Office, here, got employment. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the spokesman of the Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Dera Ismail Khan said that the deceased Shah Jehan’s son Shabir got the job after the widow had requested the Federal Ombudsman office to extend help in this regard.

He said Amina Bibi had submitted an application with the federal ombudsman office that after the death of her husband Shah Jehan, who was employed as a Postmaster in the Post Office Dera Ismail Khan had applied for the recruitment of her son at the Post Office, Dera Ismail Khan under the Prime Minister’s Assistance Package.

However, the department failed to provide a job to her son despite the passage of one year. As soon as the application was received, the Investigation Officer of the Federal Ombudsman Office, Dera Ismail Khan, started an immediate inquiry and called the officers of the concerned department to his office to get the details of the case.
