The export of Iran’s steel products has risen 15 percent during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22), as compared to the same period of time in the past year. As reported, the country exported 1.341 million tons of steel products during the five-month period of this year, while the figure was 1.166 million tons in the same time span of the previous year. As previously announced by Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA), the country exported 3.199 million tons of steel products in the past Iranian calendar year 1401 (ended on March 20).—Tehran Times
