IESCO chief suspends employees over corruption

Chief Executive Officer of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Muhammad Amjad Khan suspended IESCO employees on corruption charges.

The IESCO chief executive officer in notification said that the company could not tolerate corruption, and power theft and facilitators of power thieves.

According to the press release, the names of suspended officers are XEN Taher Rashid, SDO Shahid Mahmood.
LS-2 Shahid Gul, Arman Ali, Sajid Ali, and others have also been suspended, it is learnt. Meter Test Assistant Farrukh Aziz and Masood Ahmed have also faced suspension, it added.
