Ameer of Jamaat-e-islami (JI) Sirajul Haq has said that India is oppressing the innocent Kashmiri people in the occupied Kashmir and the Modi’s government has committed massacres in valley incessantly.
It is therefore moral and ethical duty of each member of the G20 countries that they put pressure on India to stop violence against Kashmiris. In a statement on Monday, Sirajul Haq has said that the Modi’s government is violating basic human rights (HR) in Kashmir, the Modi government has martyred children, mothers and daughters have been imprisoned by the same government.
Paying tribute to Syed Ali Geelani, he said that he spent 27 years in jail for the sake of Kashmir and for the sake of Pakistan. Sirajul Haq said that the Indian army was committing war crimes by opening fire on the innocent Muslim women, elderly and the children in Kashmir. We reject the holding of G20 in India, he said. There is silence on terrorism and there is a feeling among the people of the occupied areas of the world that the United States, Europe and the United Nations are guilty of injustice. Their confidence is shaken and they need to be supported, he said.
‘’We do not consider India as a secular democratic state, but as a terrorist state’’ Chief of Jamaat-e-islami added. Sirajul Haq further said that India can never end the freedom movement of Kashmir by coercion and violence.
