Millions of women in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJ&K) are being subjected to violence and the United Nations (UN) should play its role to press the Indian authorities to stop these atrocities, said female protesters during a protest in front of National Press Club Islamabad on the other day.
The demonstration was organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Kashmiri Women Wing.
They demanded of the UN to use all legislative powers to force to stop such inhuman practices in the unlawful occupied region, adding that it had become a routine matter by India as millions were suffering because of non-stop violence.
A resolution was also passed in which the G20 countries were asked not to attend the summit in India in protest of the violence and violation of human rights in Kashmir.
