The Psychiatry Department of Ayub Medical College (AMC) in collaboration with Socrates Society organized a Student Mental Health Conference in Abbottabad on Sunday. The conference was attended by students from AMC and other medical colleges in the region. The aim of the conference was to prioritize the mental health and well-being of the students and to provide them a platform to openly discuss critical mental health issues.
Dean AMC Professor Dr. Omar Farooq and CEO Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH) underscored the significance of addressing mental health concerns among students. They said that mental health is just as important as physical health, and that students should not hesitate to seek help if they are struggling with their mental health.
