An anti-terrorism court has extended the interim bails of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and others in the May 9 incidents till September 2. The court on Thursday directed counsels for parties to argue their cases in the next hearing.
Meanwhile, Qureshi, who is vice chairman of the PTI, wrote a letter to caretaker premier Anwaarul Haq Kakar urging him to hold general elections within 90 days as enunciated by the Constitution.
