The ban on training of students in hospital emergency has been revoked. A high-level inquiry committee was also formed on the death of the young man day before yesterday at DH Q hospital.
According to the incident, two days ago, Naveed Sati, a resident of Bandi Mira Chhattar nath, was brought to the district headquarters hospital by his family in a state of severe pain. The young man was suffering from severe pain. The doctor on duty checked up the young man. The young man kept telling the doctor that I have severe pain in my arm and chest, after a minor check-up, the doctor prescribed an injection and asked the staff on duty to administer it.
According to the family members, the doctor on duty was Trainee, who could not diagnose the pain and while avoiding his head, administered the wrong injection to Naveed, which led to his death. This incompetent and callous doctor is responsible for the death of our young man claims relatives of the deceased patients. After protesting at the hospital, the family members kept Naveed’s dead body on the link road and started chanting slogans and demanded to register a case against the doctor.
District Headquarters Medical Superintendent Dr. Aamir Asrar took action and banned the training of students in hospital emergency and formed a high-level inquiry committee on the death of the young man.
