The Institute of Dialogue Development and Diplomatic Studies in Islamabad organized a roundtable conference in connection with the “Youme Istehsal Kashmir”, today.

The Modi regime repealed the special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and imposed an unprecedented military siege in the territory on this day in 2019.

In the conference, Dr Tughral Yameen, Dr. Waleed Rasool and Dr. Ashraf Wani, besides the senior editors of print and electronic media, briefed the delegation of Occupied Kashmir Journalists Association from occupied Kashmir about the nefarious Indian plans and ambitions.

They said India’s expansionist ambitions in the occupied territory are a serious threat to the peace and stability of the entire region, so the people associated with the media should play their due role in preventing Indian plans and ambitions and expose India to the whole world.

They said after August 5, 2019, India not only suppressed the freedom of the media in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, but also arrested several journalists for writing the truth.
