Hazara Police has planned a full-proof security plan for the large processions of Muharram and around 5200 officers and personnel will perform security duty says DIG Hazara Tahir Ayub Khan. According directives issued by DIG Hazara ,Search and strike operations are going on in the areas around the processions and Imambargahs and the bomb disposal unit and canine unit also check the procession routes on a daily basis, DIG Hazara said.
A CCTV control room has also been set up where technical monitoring of all the situation of the procession is done, DIG Hazara informed. According to the details, large processions are to held on the 9th, 10th and 11th of Muharram in Haripur, Abbottabad.
