Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi undertook a comprehensive visit to various areas of the Multan city during a rain spell, emphasizing the need for effective water drainage measures.
The areas inspected by the chief minister included Ghanta Ghar, Fish Market, Eid Gah, cantonment, Shujabad Road, and other places. Accompanying him during the visit were the chief secretary, IG police, ACS (South Punjab), and Addl IG (South Punjab). During his visit, CM closely took stock of the situation and ordered to ensure immediate and efficient water drainage in the affected localities, adding that WASA should utilize every resource to do the job.
He also directed the commissioner to personally oversee the drainage of the rainwater.
