Heavy rains expected across country

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rain with thunder and lightning across the country during the next 72 hours. According to National Disaster Management Authority, there are chances of landslides and flash floods in seasonal nullahs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Heavy falls are likely to occur in Kashmir, northeast Punjab, Pothohar region, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast and south Balochistan and Sindh during the forecast period.
