The Green Revolution Project of Pakistan will be completed at cost of five billion rupees in three year time period. The project will be completed under Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC). Funds will be released for project under Federal Development Program and additional machinery will be purchased for it through private entrepreneurs. The time scale for completion of the project is June 2026.
A total 24 projects have been identified under Green Revolution Project. As many as 3000 growers will be provided a sum of 700 million rupees under which they would purchase 200 solar driers of apricot. Meanwhile, 500 cultivators would be provided a sum of 10 million rupees for purchasing 50 solar driers of dates.
