“Jhoot Nahi Bolen Ge Conference”, organized by Ethical Pro and Central Ulema Council Pakistan, was held at the Chamber of Commerce Faisalabad on other day.
The agenda of the conference was not to lie in trade. Lying and cheating are prohibited in trade. In the hadiths, strict comminations have been revealed against lying and cheating. Truth is such a blessing that keeps society free from many evils by keeping people away from misdirection. Truthful people would earn the highest ranks, while lying is Haram in Islam, and on it Allah revealed commination of painful punishment.
Every Muslim should avoid lying, as it is impeachable in Islam. Lying is a sin; the person who tells a lie loses his honour. It is a pity that lies have become fundamental in every small and big sector of society. The speakers of the conference “Jhoot Nahi Bolen Ge” stated that giving false testimony has become a common thing in society, and doing business by lying has become a favourite pastime of businessmen. They urged that speaking truth is real right. They further urge people to develop the habit of truth and avoid lies. Speak the truth and support right and truth.
The speakers of the conference also advised the audience to adopt Islamic rules and regulations in business. “In trade, avoid the haram matters of usury and intermediaries,”. Do not sell your goods by hiding their defects. You should follow the principles of the Qur’an and Prophet’s (SAW) teachings for pursuing ‘Rizq -e- Halal’
Do Not rely upon lies in your trade, as Allah is the provider of sustenance. When Allah has created you, then the ‘Rizq’, which he has written for you, will be provided to you, and even no power on earth can stop this.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: “He who earns lawfully income, will meet Allah on the Day of Resurrection; his face will be as bright as the full moon. People who engage in business, do not tell lies, hold fast to the truth, are blessed in their trade and get satisfied with their income.
