Committee room inaugurated for PU student societies

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood on Tuesday inaugurated the committee room for the student societies in the Directorate of Student Affairs.

On this occasion, Director Student Affairs Dr Muhammad Ali Klasra, Treasurer Tasneem Kamran, Resident Officer-II Muhammad Kashif Nazir Hanjra and students were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Khalid Mahmood said that the committee room established under the auspices of the Directorate of Students Affairs would help the students of PU in promoting co-curricular activities. He said that co-curricular activities along with curricular activities are necessary to highlight the skills of students.

The PU VC said that the Pakistani nation is not less than any other nation in the world in terms of capacity because we overcome crises through strong intentions despite having fewer resources. He said that in the current situation of Pakistan, everyone has to play their role together.

In his address, Dr Muhammad Ali Klasra thanked the VC for establishing the committee room for the training of students’ co-curricular activities. He said that Dr Khalid Mahmood listens to the problems of the students and takes steps to solve them on a priority basis.
