A notification has been issued to increase electricity prices by one rupee 24 paise per unit. According to the notification, the increase will be applicable in the bills of July, August, and September.
Due to the increase in electricity prices, consumers will be burdened by Rs. 46 billion 76 crore.
It should be remembered that a few days ago, Nepra approved the increase in the price of electricity.
