Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has decided to online the application for installation of new electricity connections.
In this regard, FESCO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shafiq-ul-Hassan has issued orders to implement the online application in all sub-divisions of FESCO region till end of March, 2020.
FESCO IT Department has developed the software for acceptance of online application and this software is running in house on experimental basis while necessary training is also being provided to FESCO staff.
After removing the faults during the experimental process, software would be available for all consumers. The successful trial has made in 50pc sub-divisions of FESCO while it would be implemented at all the sub-divisions next month.
After implementation of online application, consumers would be able to apply online from any area of FESCO and during site survey FESCO staff would collect the necessary documents from the consumer while information regarding acceptance or rejection of application would also be provided to consumers.
CEO Shafiq-ul-Hassan said that FESCO consumers were precious assets of company and FESCO was trying to provide the excellent services.
