Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said on Friday the “illegal” government had put the national honour, assets and foreign policy on sale to stay in power. Hitting out at the ruling coalition in a tweet, the former interior minister quipped that burial should be declared free for poor people at least to give them relief at this stage. He said the observers from across the world wre asking whether elections will be held in Pakistan on time, if so, then how it will happen. He asked against whom will the PPP and PML-N, which are coalition partners in centre, would contest elections. Holding the general elections the way witnessed in Karachi and Azad Kashmir would carry more disadvantageous. He also took aim at Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, saying he had completed fifty of foreign trips and now had reached in the US. He said the US tour was a fourth failed attempt of the secret political activities, adding that Bilawal Bhutto would return empty handed.—INP
