International Journalists Council (IJC) Hafizabad Chapter took out protesting rally against desecration of Holy Quran in Sweden led by Chairman Press Club Hafizabad Tanzel-ur-Rehman Butt.
Addressing the participants of the rally, ex-Chairman Press Club Rana Muhammad Arshad Anjum, District President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Hafizabad Hafiz Abdul Qadeer Chaudhry and Tanzel-ur-Rehman Butt said that Islam teach lesson of brotherhood, peace, unity and tolerance while non-Muslims elements heart sentiments of the Muslims to commit such acts which cannot be tolerated at all. They said that some such elements were trying to provoke the Muslims for ruining steps taken by the International Community to promote interfaith harmony, peace and coexisting in the world.
They urged the government of Pakistan to take action against this condemned act to boycott Sweden products and disconnect diplomatic relations as well as evolved affective strategy with the coordination of the Muslim Countries to contain such blasphemous act in future.
