Surveillance monitoring to improve healthcare in hospitals: Jamal

Caretaker Minister Primary and Secondary Health Care Dr. Jamal Nasir said that surveillance monitoring to improve healthcare facilities in hospitals.

He made these remarks during his visit to Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital and Control Room established in hospital and reviewed treatment facilities being provided to the patients.

He said that X-ray and ultrasound machines should be kept functional 24 hours a day in all district and tehsil headquarters hospitals to facilitate patients.

He stressed for deployment of more staff at slip counters for the convenience of people in extreme heat.

Meanwhile, Dr. Jamal Nasir spoke to MS Murree Hospital on the phone and directed the doctors to issue a circular to focus on work. He said that the lack of provision of the best treatment facilities cannot be tolerated.

He warns strict action would be taken against those who were lax and negligent in duty. He said that the Chief Minister has given the task of improving Murree Hospital doctors and medical staff should work hard.
