Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Zubair lashed out at PTI led government for failing to curb inflation, poverty and corruption in the country. While addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Muhammad Zubair said that masses are facing flour, sugar and tomato crises as inflation has reached its highest level in 12 years. The ex-governor further added that public is suffering from poverty, unemployment, corruption and inflation in ‘Naya Pakistan’. Muhammad Zubair said that entire cabinet including Prime Minister are incapable to resolve national issues. Corruption in flour and sugar crises costed Rs40 billion to the public. The PML-N leader further added that Shehbaz Sharif has filed a case against Daily Mail. He alleged that the present regime’s ‘record financial blunders’ have pushed the country’s economy to the brink of bankruptcy. Zubair said that the PTI government should resign in national interest because the country cannot sustain another devastating fiscal quarter. He stressed that any economy has three major indicators which identify its health and direction and pointed out that the growth rate, fiscal deficit and inflation are these key areas and PTI has not just failed at sustaining previous numbers but has caused record degradation in all three.
