Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chief Organiser Chaudhry Sarwar on Wednesday said that there was a dire need to improve the justice system in the country.
Addressing a press conference flanked by PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Mr Sarwar said, “Youth is the strength of our party. Now, fortunately, youth from minorities are also joining PML-Q”.
“As a nation, it is necessary to ask ourselves whether we have fulfilled the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. I assure the minorities that if the PML-Q comes to power, it will fight for their rights,” Mr Sarwar said.
Mr Sarwar asserted, “It was a matter of pride for me that when I was the Punjab governor, all festivals of different religions were celebrated at the Governor House”.
Meanwhile, while talking about the former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Mr Hussain said, “The facilities were provided to Parvez Elahi. We wish him to be released soon.”
Mr Hussain said, “Each party will try its level best to get the majority in Punjab. The PML-Q is also trying hard in this regard. We are also holding district-wise meetings with our candidates. The PML-Q will be stronger in Punjab in the coming days”.
Highlighting the importance of democracy, Mr Hussain said, “When it comes to democracy, it will be further strengthened in the country. In this regard, the role of every political party, citizens, and the media is very important”.
Mr Hussain gave the example of the neighbouring countries and said, “Look where the neighbouring countries are standing now.
