The Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed for hearing the acquittal plea of Khadija Shah, a fashion designer who is currently in prison in connection with her alleged involvement in May 9 violence, on Monday (June 12).
The registrar office issued the cause list on Saturday.
The court also summoned counsels for parties to the case as well as the jail superintendent.
A two-member bench, headed by Justice Syed Shehbaz Ali Shah, will hear the case.
Khadija’s father former finance minister Dr. Salman Shah and her husband Jahanzeb Amin had filed the petition for her release.
