Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in connection with ongoing anti-encroachment drive demolished several illegal constructions and structures during the operation conducted in the different areas of the city.
These operations were participated and monitored by Enforcement Directorate of the Authority, Islamabad Administration, Islamabad Police and other concerned formations.
During the operation conducted in sector H-8 near Shifa International Hospital (SIH) emergency gate demolished several illegal chapper (makeshift) hotels and eight kiosks while encroachment material was confiscated which was later shifted to CDA store.
Similarly on the indication of Environment Wing two illegal installed gate and barbed wire on four kanal area in Sector F-11/1 reserved for public park were also removed and handed over to Environment Wing for development of park.
Similarly, warning was also issued to remove illegally constructed garage on green belt in street 166 of sector G-11/1 failing which action would be taken by the authority.
