Pakistan literature festival Kashmir chapter will be inaugurated on 3 June

The Pakistan Literature Festival to be held in Muzaffarabad is a response to the illegal G-20 conference in Srinagar, said President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah. The festival will have 20 sessions on the culture, languages, ceramics and issues of Kashmir in which writers, intellectuals and journalists from Pakistan and Azad Kashmir will discuss.

Muzaffarabad () Pakistan Literature Festival Kashmir Chapter will be inaugurated on 3rd June 2023 at PC Hotel Muzaffarabad, in which more than 20 sessions will be held, it will be the biggest literary and cultural festival in the history of Muzaffarabad, these views were  expressed by President of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah in a press conference at Muzaffarabad on Friday along with Secretary Tourism Azad Kashmir Government Midhat Shehzad, Secretary Information and Public Relations Ansir Yaqoob, Coordinator and Secretary of the festival Ahmed Attaullah, Director Information Amjad Hussain Minhas. Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that Kashmir has a history and culture of thousands of years, that is why it was called Iran sub-region and to keep this history and culture alive, it is necessary that such programs and festivals are established continuously. Therefore, steps will be taken to establish an Arts Council in Muzaffarabad. Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that the society of Pakistan today is divided into different ways of thinking. Our effort is to link this division with literature and culture. People come from all over the world in the Urdu conference and all languages are included in it.

They will then take the festival to other cities and abroad so that the culture and bright face of Pakistan will be seen to the world.  He said that the government of Azad Kashmir has been very supportive, Chief Secretary Dr. Muhammad Usman Chachar has been very supportive. It did not receive financial resources from the Azad Kashmir government. Sindh government has been very supportive.
