Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said on Sunday that several leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were leaving former prime minister Imran Khan one by one. Addressing a ceremony, Tessori claimed that there was no support left behind for Imran Khan. Speaking about the May 9 vandalism, he said, “The public buildings were attacked on May 9.”
He said, “You will see in the coming days that all these PTI leaders would do a press conference one by one and leave Imran Khan’s company.”
Tessori lamented that the protestors “burned down 1000s of bikes”, targeting those who had scant opportunities to earn in the current economic situation. Directing a question towards PTI leaders, he asked, “If they loved Imran this much then why didn’t they burn down their own property?”
