The postmortem report of Noor Jehan, the elephant in Karachi Zoo who passed away last month, revealed that she died from blood parasite disease.

The report which is obtained by Aaj News read that Noor Jehan was also suffering from hematoma and other diseases. “Blood parasites are caused by the bite of a particular type of fly,” the report added.Noor Jahan suffered leg pain in January 2023, said. Dr Saif ur Rehman, Administrator Karachi.
