Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Minister for Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh has said that problems of Sindh Madressatul Islam School will be resolve on priority basis, especially it will be provided a separate budget from Sindh Madressatul Islam University’s budget to ensure its smooth working.
He said this on Tuesday when Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai called upon him at his office to apprise him particularly about the issue of separate budget for SMIU Model School.Syed Sardar Ali Shah said Sindh Madressatul Islam being an Alma-Mater of Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah is a most important for all of us, this is why its development and progress according to the challenges of the new era is obligation to the government.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai presented some pertinent problems of SMIU Model School before the minister and requested him to get these resolved as soon as possible. “We are bearing all expenditures of SMIU Model School from the budget of Sindh Madressatul Islam University since the last ten years, as a result the development of the university as well as of the school is not being carried out accordingly,” the vice chancellor said added due to the historic character of SMI School its issues should be resolved.
On the invitation of the vice chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that he shall visit the SMIU in the end of the current month of May and shall inaugurate Taj Sahrai Corner and Dr. Hameeda Khuhro Corner established by SMIU.
Syed Sardar Ali Shah also agreed to deliver a lecture to SMIU students on the subject of “Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai: A Universal Poet,” in the series of Popular Lectures Series,
