Lahore Arts Council’s singing competition titled “Alhamra Folk Music Competition” audition has been completed, in which fifteen candidates were selected for the final of Folk Music Competition. The final round of the contest will be held today (Wednesday) at Alhamra Arts Centre the Mall.
Singers from all over Pakistan have been participated enthusiastically in the audition of “Alhamra Folk Music Competition” and sang different songs to impress the judges.
Alhamra promotes quality music by organizing different music program and competitions like “Alhamra Live” “Voice of Alhamra” and “Folk Music Competition” because Alhamra believes that the future of singing in Pakistan is very bright as the art of music is growing rapidly on the platform of Lahore Arts Council.
Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Athar Ali Khan welcomed singers from all over Pakistan, to participate in the ” Alhamra Folk Music Competition “, and expressed his best wishes to all singers, and said that Alhamra has always created opportunities for our youth to move forward. He further said that Alhamra’s platform is providing young people with immense opportunities in all fields including singing, painting, Theater, literature and other fields of fine arts.
