STAFF REPORTER ISLAMABAD Pakistan’s top industrialists businessmen, traders and eminent citizens from the country’s business, tourism and civil society left for a seven-day tour to Egypt. They will hold meetings with their counterparts to explore and strengthen tourism, business, energy and cooperation in other sectors. Noted industrialists and businessmen, besides a high court judge and media personalities are also part of the group. Egyptian ambassador, Ahmed Fadel Yacoub saw the group off at a reception organized by the embassy. On the occasion, the ambassador said Pakistan and Egypt enjoyed deep friendly ties and a strong bond of friendship and Egypt waslooking forwardto promoting tourism with Pakistan. The ambassador further said in order to promote tourism with Pakistan 10,000 visas wereissued bythe Egyptian government last year adding the country hoped to increase this number in 2020.
