Fawad Chaudhry’s accusations are a lie. The claim that 20 people died during the distribution of flour is absurd.

These views were expressed by the caretaker provincial minister for information and culture Amir Mir while talking to the media.

He said that Fawad Chaudhry, following the footsteps of his captain, has tried to taint the Punjab government’s free flour scheme by resorting to lies.

He said that the fact is that during the distribution of flour in Punjab, only three people have died due to a stampede and the other four people have lost their lives due to heart attack.

Two of them died in the hospital and two died at home.

The caretaker provincial minister Amir Mir said that

Fawad Chaudhry’s shop of lies will no longer operate and Fawad & Co should refrain from telling lies at least during Ramadan.

Amir Mir said that Khan Sahib and his associates have a tendency to tell lies, but it is also a fact that Pakistani people know the difference between lies and truth.

Now it is not possible for Fawad and company to mislead the people, Aamir Mir said.

He said that the Punjab government is continuing to distribute free flour among the beneficiaries across the province and so far free flour has been distributed to more than 21 million beneficiaries.
