With government decisions, Pakistan has gained economic stability; Flagging current account deficit and the restoration of confidence among investors was a success.
He went on to say that PM IK has portrayed himself as a visionary leader in the world. His speech in the World Economic Forum was very effective that received appreciation all over the world.
‘We want to get rid of this system through government reforms but a segment of a society, getting relished from the old system was the biggest obstacle in our way showing retaliation to the change’.
The situation had become so much worse that we had no option other than “Now or never”. We took the bitter dose by putting aside all our political affiliations and we saw our efforts started to bore fruit.
He indicated Pakistan was moved from negative to stable economies by MOODY’s. Pakistan jumped to 28 positions in ease of doing business whereas the World Bank has ranked Pakistan out of 10 countries in bringing reforms in their economies.
Bloomberg, in last year, ranked Pakistan’s Stock Exchange as one of the best performing markets in world.
Opposition could not sustain these radical changes for the betterment of Pakistan and they were propelling negative propaganda but they will meet with consternation.
