‘Safe blood for Punjab’ agreement signed
Caretaker Provincial Minister of Health Dr. Javed Akram has stated that Punjab government is trying to provide better health facilities to the people. He expressed this during an agreement with slogan “Safe blood for Punjab” that was signed between the Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education and Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Trust on behalf of the Punjab government. Caretaker Provincial Minister of Health Dr. Javed Akram attended the event as a chief guest. On this occasion, Punjab Health Secretary Dr. Ahmad Javed Qazi, Special Secretary Syed Wajid Ali Shah, Additional Secretary Agha Nabil, Additional Secretary Shahida Farrukh, Dr. Saeed Akhtar, Dr. Saqib Aziz, Dr. Shehzad Anwar, Dr. Izhar Chaudhry, Deputy Secretary Muhammad Abu Bakr, Jawad Pirzada and other officers also participated. Chairman Mian Talat Mehmood and Aziz ul Rehman participated in the cere-mony on behalf of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Hospital Trust.
The care-taker provincial health minister Dr. Javed Akram and chairman Mian Talat Mahmood signed the agree-ment memorial and exchanged mementos. Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram said that a very important agree-ment has been reached between the Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Hospital Trust.
We are thankful to the administration of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Trust for concluding the agreement. Under the agreement, the operations and management of regional blood centers in Multan, Bahawalpur and Faisalabad will be improved.
All the resources are being used for this. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, we are trying to provide better health facili-ties to the people.
The supply of clean and healthy blood for the treatment of patients in the gov-ernment hospitals of Punjab will be ensured. Punjab Health Secretary Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi said that the agreement between the Depart-ment of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education and Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Trust will prove to be very important in the future.
The main slogan of the agreement is “Safe blood for Pun-jab”.
