Candidates from district Attock filed nomination papers

In line with other parts of the Punjab, the candidates from five constituencies of district Attock have also filed their candidatures to contest the elections of provincial assembly Punjab scheduled to be held on April 30, 2023. The scrutiny of their papers will be continued March 22, 2023.

The candidates can withdraw their papers on April 05, 2023 and final list of candidates will be notified on the same day. The election symbols will be allotted to the contesting candidates on April 06, 2023 whereas polling will be conducted on April 30, 2023.

Reports said, PTI’s former provincial minister Punjab Syed Yawar Abbas, ex-MPA Syed Ejaz Hussain Bokhari, Syed Khawar Bokhari, Brig. Sardar Asif Nawaz Khan, Mr. Umair Ahmed, Tehrik e Labaib Pakistan nominated candidate Malik Umar Arshad, PTI (Major Tahir Group) candidate Mohammad Zain Elahi, PTI (Malik Ameen Aslam) Malik Mohammad Shamsher Aslam, PML-N’s Mr. Mohammad Salman Sarwar, Nasir Mahmood Sheikh, Sheikh Mohammad Arif, Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan, Qaiser Mushtaq, Malik Ehtebar Khan, Malik Faisal Yar Khan, Malik Hameed Akbar, Malik Iftikhar Awam, PPP’s Syed Azmat Ali Bokhari Advocate Supreme Court, JUI’s Mufti Syed Amir Zaman Haqani, Syed Zargon Shah, Jamaat Islami ‘s district leader Mian Mohammad Junaid, independent candidates include Mohammad Shoaib, Waheed Murad Advocate, Riaz Ali, Abdullah Butt, Syed Asad Hussain, Syed Atta Hussain Shah, Syed Nasir Abbas.
