Usman Khan and Multan Sultans set record books ablaze in their match against the Quetta Gladiators.

The pitch at the Pindi Cricket Stadium aided the batters as expected but no one saw the carnage that followed when Mohammad Rizwan’s men took the field to bat first.

Here are some records that Usman Khan and Multan Sultans set during the first innings.

  • Usman’s 36-ball hundred is the fastest in the history of the PSL bettering his teammate Rilee Rossouw’s 41-ball ton which he set yesterday.
  • Usman’s century came at the 8.2 overs mark, the earliest any player has completed a hundred.
  • His 120-runs by the end of the 10th over are the most by any better in the history of T20 cricket.
  • Multan’s powerplay score of 91 is the second-highest for any team in the PSL behind United’s 97 for 0 against Gladiators in 2021. Their 100 in 6.3 overs is also the second fastest in the PSL behind United’s 6.2 overs against Gladiators.
  • The Sutlans’ total of 262-3 is the highest score in the history of PSL moving ahead of United’s 247.
  • The opening partnership between Usman and Mohammad Rizwan of 157 is the third-best opening partnership in PSL history.
  • Qais Ahmed’s figures of 77/2 from his four overs are the most expensive in the history of PSL and third-most in the history of T20 Cricket.
  • The 54 runs Uman took from Qais’ bowling in 12 balls is also a record for the most scored by a batter against one bowler.
