The Islamabad Police arrested two women with over two kilogram heroin here in Golra police station jurisdiction on Monday.
According to details, the police team led by SHO Golra police station Shabbir Ahmed Tanol conducted operation against drugs smugglers in the area.
During operation, two women stated to be mother and daughter were apprehended with 2.050 kilogram heroin.
The recovered drug was being smuggled from Peshawar to Islamabad where it was to be supplied in the educational institutions of the federal capital.
The police after registering a case against the detained women have started an investigation.
