Rawalpindi: Isamabad United stunned Kings by meeting the target of 202 with six wickets in hands at Rawalpindi Stadium Friday.
Azam Khan scored 72 for 41 balls and materialized victrory of the United against Karahi Kings in the 10th encounter of HBL Pakistan Super League 8.
Batting first, Karachi Kings had set the target of 202 runs after winning the toss. The Kings had thought that batting first would give them a boost to win the match but Azam Khan turned the tables through his amazing performance.
Earlier, the captain of Karachi scored 92 runs in 54 balls while smashing the ball all over the field.
Karachi scored 61 runs in the powerplay after opting to bat first, but three wickets were lost in the process.
After being cleaned up by Rumman Raees, Sharjeel Khan (#8), who was making a comeback in the side, was the first to be ejected.
