Indian army man, head constable killed in Chhattisgarh attacks

An Indian Army man was shot dead by Naxal guerrillas in Indian disturbed state Chhattisgarh.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian army man, identified as Moti Ram Anchla (28), was killed in Useli area of Kanker district of the state.

Khoman Sinha, Kanker, additional Superintendent of Police, informed that an Indian Army man was shot dead by Naxals in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh.

Meanwhile, a head constable of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF), Sanjay Lakra, belonging to CAF’s 16th battalion was killed after a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) planted by Naxal guerrillas went off in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur.

On February 25, three police personnel were killed in an encounter with the Naxalites in the Sukma district of the same state.

On February 20, two policemen were killed in a Naxal guerrillas attack in Rajnandgaon district of the state.

The Nazal guerrillas have been demanding independence from Indian hegemony for decades in different states of India.INP
