Sit-in for restoration of 3G,4G continues

The protest sit-in arranged by Ragzai Youth Society in Birmal Tehsil of South Waziristan Lower entered its tenth day against the shutdown of internet service. The participants of the sit-in protested that the main Pak-Afghan highway has been closed for normal traffic.

According to the sit-in participants, internet i.e. 3G and 4G services have been suspended in Ragzai area for two and a half months, due to which not only the people of the area are facing severe problems. Rather, the business activities of local people have come to a standstill due to lack of internet services, along with the fact that most of the people here live abroad.

It should be noted that those living abroad have lost contact with their loved ones for the last two and a half months. In this modern era, thousands of people of South Waziristan Lower Tehsil Birmal are deprived of internet services Imran Mukhlis Wazir from PPP, former chairmanship candidate Taj Mohammad Wazir, Ayaz Wazir from ANP, Saif Ur Rehman from JI and Maulana Sabir Ullah Wazir.
