Heavy snow, rain predicted in 19 provinces

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has warned the possibility of snow and heavy rainfall in 19 provinces.

On Saturday January 28, this department announced that there is a possibility of snow and heavy rain in the coming days in the provinces of Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Panjshir, Parwan, Kabul, Logar, Paktika, Zabul, Ghazni, Wardak, Bamyan, Daikundi and Ghor.

According to the announcement of this department, the amount of rainfall in different parts of Afghanistan is between 10-20 mm and the amount of snow is predicted to be between 15-40 cm.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan has experienced harsh winter in the past 20 days and nearly 150 people have died due to the extreme cold weather in Afghanistan.—Ariana news
