Casting serious doubts on holding free, fair and transparent elections, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has termed the caretaker cabinet of the province as “B-team” of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) adding the ruling alliance was manipulating to escape from the elections.
In a tweet, the spokesman for the PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and former Provincial Minister Shaukat Yousafzai alleged that the provincial caretaker cabinet comprised of Awami National Party (ANP), Jamiat –e-Ulema-e-Islam JUI-F, PML-N and PPP members.
I doubt the holding of fair and transparent elections in presence of such cabinet. Is it not a joke with the people and slap on this system”. Shaukat questioned. He said that the PDM was running away from elections despite bringing their “own umpires” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. “In fact the PDM is looking for ways to run way from elections, which is violation of constitution of Pakistan”. The PTI leader observed.
The PTI leader asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to immediately announce elections schedule for holding elections on time and ensure that the process is completed in fair and transparent manners.
